Inspiration
Muanjoy is a lifestyle product brand, inspired by simple ways of life and local people in Phrae province, a little tranquil town in the north of Thailand.
Living among rich resources and close to the nature, local people have wisely adapted surrounding materials with traditional techniques to create necessities for a living and it becomes invaluable wisdom that has been passed for generations. It can be found in local daily lifestyle in food, clothes, amenities and even perspective in life. Beside local wisdom and natural lifestyle that makes Phrae a livable town, easy-going, honest and great-fun locals is also a key factor that make this little town so charming.
All these characteristics of Phrae becomes our inspiration to create fine lifestyle products extracted from local wisdom and crafts that we believe it still exists in new generations' blood. We also want to use a product to reflect good quality of life in both body and mind.
Brand Concept
"Muanjoy is the land of joyfulness."
Muanjoy is a perfect combination of "well-beings" that comprise with a unique northern-Thai lifestyle, good-nurtured people, fertile lands. fresh air and mountainous-panoramic views.
ม่วน - Muan is a local word means be enjoyable, happy, pleasant, etc., which can be in many degree of happiness.
จอย - Joy is an English word describing a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.
So, we combine these two words together because, Muanjoy can describe a character of Phrae people who enjoy their simple lives in this little town with laughter and smile. The most important thing, as we are local Phrae-risians too, we love parties and all kinds of celebration!

Message from the founder
"We know what we have here and it is so valuable. We have clean air to breathe, rice from our fields, fruits from our backyards and beautiful handicrafts to use in our everyday life. All of these is very authentic and charming. We think they are too good to be hidden within this little town, instead they are worth sharing to those who seeking for high quality products that are originally from farmers and artisans who know best on their works.
We rethink, redesign and understand people's needs to create products literally viable on the market, not just in Thailand but also in the global market to connect the local to the world. As locals people, we are responsible for serving the world with goodness we have.
We also concern about the future of our community. We hope that our works will partly contribute to local community revitalisation around Phrae province and create job opportunities to local young people who wish to return back to their hometown and stay close to their beloved family. Finally, I hope that our province becomes alive again."
